Someone told me that evil people don't have to be Epsteins or Netanyahus or Hitlers, they can be quite normal-looking and otherwise inconspicuous. In fact, believing otherwise just helps evil people stay evil. It also generally prevents people from improving themselves and realizing that there are better ways to live.
The framing "potential" is what the debate always gets hung up on, but that's exactly the point. Every woman carries threat assessment as a background process. Not because every man is dangerous, but because we have no way to know which one is. The mental load of that constant vigilance is something women rarely name out loud because naming it sounds like accusation. But it is data. It always was.
I really wanted to hate this article—this page—but I can’t. I see the passion in your writing and the justice seeking mindset that I have. As a man, I wanted to stick up for all men but I can’t. A friend of mine was accused of rape in college and, despite him being a nice guy, people saw him differently just based on the accusation. He’s moved forward in his life now but that’ll always follow him. The best thing we can do, as men, is to raise our boys better. Raise the next generation of men with a new kind of masculinity. It’s not a final solution but a start.
Infant boy circumcision is rape so most rape victims are men and most doctors who perform the surgery are female, most rapists are women and all women are potential rapists
i do agree that infant circumcision is sexual assault though. not rape, but sexual assault. would love to see the stat that most doctors who perform it are women, though. i’d also need to see the studies that show circumcision is more common than rape in order for you to make the claim that most rapists are women due to circumcision practices. after you prove that more women are performing the practice, of course.
