I’m beyond tired of the cishetero white male savior. I know! The most disenfranchised group out there, so sorry. It amazes me how adept they are at manipulation while doing next to nothing. I watch women backflip to defend white men that have such a hold on them and I know how easy it is to fall into. A white man will say “women are human!" and too many women will rejoice.
To be clear, I don't believe women are weak for this or that we're wholly at fault. The cishetero white man is the single figure closest to a God in the eyes of social structures. We're all vulnerable to their savior routine. Expectedly, white women seem more susceptible because we're trained to believe abandoning “our men” will surely spell our doom on top of a myriad of racist conditioning. Disregard the fact that white men have never spared us from reproductive exploitation, dehumanization, rape and physical abuse or femicide. White supremacy is one strong motherfucker.
Have you ever felt a wave of women ready to verbally spear you because you dared to question the prophet (read: white man)? Let me tell you, shit sucks. I love when men are angry at me. It genuinely fills me with joy to know I’ve struck a nerve and their hairlines are receding further because of feminism 101. This is not the case with women. I don't cry often, but women trapping themselves under the decrepit wing of some white dude and setting their sights on me as the enemy will do it.
The white man's self victimization has gotten worse. I don't want to analyze why this is or how we got here right now, I just know I want them to shut up. Men in general are so set on calling themselves oppressed for being men they've begun writing essays on age of consent laws harming them. Hell, plenty of them are convinced their lives are over because they're 5 foot 6.
Truthfully I’d love it if we'd stop giving the cishetero white male savior the time of day in academic and advocacy spaces. Sure, maybe he's a decent guy, but is he the arbiter of knowledge on marginalized people? Absolutely the fuck not. Is he the end all be all of feminism? Don't piss me off.
I’m tired. Please go host a sermon or something and leave the rest of us to have the grown up conversations. Women, the next time you find yourself poised to attack a woman in the name of a white man, please consider doing literally anything else.
Cis yte males in our society are so infantilized they can't conceptualize a world that doesn't center them. I've completely stopped giving them energy IRL and online.
Example: I went out to get my mail and some dud in a BMW slowed down to creep on me, no other word for it. I didn't look at him, didn't even glance back. When I didn't look, he revved his car several times, but I didn't react at all. WITHDRAW ALL YOUR ENERGY, AND WATCH THEM WITHER.
